"When I approached Joe it had been many years since I had held a tennis racquet and been on court, so I had to firstly conquer my anxiety before developing my technique and game-play. I was initially very impressed with how Joe helped me focus on the fundamentals of holding the racquet correctly, adopting the correct stance and getting my "eye on the ball" which all helped me relax and get into a positive mind-set.

Shortly afterwards, within a few lessons from that initial meeting, Joe's coaching had resulted in me naturally turning as I received the ball which contributed to a more effective swing and ultimately keeping the ball in court – I was rallying with my opponent with consistency and fluidity, which was an amazing feeling! "My son Mason has not been at a club for a number of years but has been receiving lessons once a week from Joe and he is playing really well.

He was put into the road to Wimbledon tournament and although he is only ranked a 9.1 he beat off 7.1 and 7.2 to reach the final only losing 6-4 6-4 against a 6.1 ranked player a year older.
